Untitled Image is my pet project. It's a community for artistic people that I've been running in one form or another since 2001 or 2002. I started it to be a smaller more personal alternative to DeviantArt or other huge art communities.

It's seen better days but I'm always active and we have a group of regulars who are active when they can. We are always looking for new members.

MacThemes
A great Mac focused interface customization site. (I also moderate on the MacThemes forums.) The forums community is the real gem here. Watch the release forum for new Desktops and Icons created by members of the community.

Pixel Girl Presents
A cute little site with a good selection of edgy and, well cute desktops and icons. She's also got a few of my desktops in her collection.

Art

David Lanham
A very creative guy. David's illustrations have a distinct style that you can't help but love. Most of his work is available as desktop wallpaper for download. He also does wonderful icon design for The Icon Factory.

The Art of Craig Mullins
One of the most talented digital painters I know of. His paintings look like oil paintings, but are actually painted in Photoshop with a tablet.

cheval noir - The art of Aya Kato
Some inspiring art, also mostly digitally colored. I like the almost Art Nuvo style mixed with asian influences.

Root Magazine
A very inspiring showcase of edgy art and design work presented as a downloadable digital magazine.

Design

Logo Pond
This is where I go when I'm working on a logo and I'm just not inspired. A growing collection of mostly great logos for your inspiration.

BLUE VERTIGO
This is a huge collection of links to design resources like stockphotos, fonts, brushes etc. A must for any designer. Also updated often.

FancyZoom
The way cool script I'm using to make my images pop-up. FancyZoom is totally free for non-commercial websites.
